**This listing is only for people living locally to the shop and have previously spoke to the owner about their interest in the course.**
Your child is interested in sewing! How fun! Come join our 4 week session teaching the basics of sewing with a sewing machine.
Your child will attend 4 sewing lessons in-person and learn the basics of using a sewing machine. During each lesson, your child will have hands-on experience using a sewing machine. During the lessons, your child will focus on the basic parts of the sewing machine, learn how to straight-stitch, back-stitch, how to pivot while sewing, and how to sew a 1/4" and 1/8" seam. They will complete various projects during the lessons.
For each lesson, your child will need to supply their own materials and sewing machine. If you do not have a sewing machine available, please notify me and I will set one aside for them here.
If you'd prefer to not provide materials for the course, there's an option to pay for a Sewing Supply Package that will include the fabrics and thread. This is purchased online, but will remain at the shop until the lesson. Materials will be prepared prior to the lesson. Sewing Supply Package may be purchased here.
Parents will drop off the child at 10am and pick them up at 12pm.
If a student misses a week due to illness, please notify me as soon as possible. Class will be refunded at $20 or there may be an option to reschedule the lesson if schedules permit this.
Classes will run on Tuesdays starting October 1- October 22. One purchase is for 1 student. If there are multiple children taking the course, select the quanity (1) for 1 child, (2) for 2 kids, and (3) for 3 kids.
