This pattern comes after a difficult and trying time in my familys' life. I designed the pattern after my own surgeries and treatments for cancer, and then my mother-in-law passed away from cancer before I relased this pattern. Although these days and even years have difficult moments, I am reminded that God has promised to never leave nor forsake us through this walk. "Hope Blossoms" is an ebeneezer of a sort to remind me of God's presence in my life and that beauty can come from ashes. It's also a reminder to keep a hopeful outlook.

Here's a step-by-step guide to help you craft this beautiful piece.

**1. Gather Your Fabrics:**

Begin by selecting the lush, nature-inspired fabrics that will bring your quilt to life. For "Hope Blossoms," here are the fabrics I used for my cover version:

- **FSW00 Sugar**

- **FSW12 Marsala**

- **FSW13 Wild Rose**

- **FSW145 Cherub**

- **FSW19 Cenote**

- **FSW06 Chamomile**

- **FSW22 Ocean**

**2. Prepare Your Half Square Triangles (HSTs):**

To create the floral blocks, start by making your HSTs:

- Draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of your lighter-colored squares.

- Pair each with a contrasting square, placing them right sides together (RST).

- Sew a seam ¼" on either side of the drawn line, then cut along the line to produce two HSTs from each pair.

- Carefully trim each HST to the required size, ensuring precision for a seamless fit.

**3. Assemble the Blocks:**

With your HSTs ready, it's time to form the beautiful floral blocks:

- Follow the pattern instructions to combine HSTs and other pieces into three distinct types of blocks.

- Sew the pieces together row by row, and then join the rows to complete each block.

- Each block should capture the spirit of blossoming flowers, ready to bloom in your quilt.

**4. Piece the Quilt Top:**

Lay out your blocks in a captivating diagonal pattern, interspersed with setting triangles:

- Arrange the blocks and setting triangles according to the pattern, ensuring a harmonious flow.

- Sew the blocks and setting triangles into rows, then join the rows together to form the quilt top.

- Add the corner setting triangles to complete the layout, ensuring each piece aligns perfectly.

**5. Finishing Touches:**

As you near the completion of your quilt, the final steps will bring everything together:

- Prepare the quilt backing, choosing a fabric that complements your design.

- Layer the quilt top with batting and the backing fabric, then quilt as desired, letting your stitches add texture and depth.

- Finally, bind the quilt using the FSW22 Ocean fabric, a vibrant blue that ties all the elements together in perfect harmony.
